Titanic: An Immersive Voyage in Scottsdale is a self-paced exhibition combining historical artifacts, room recreations, projections and interactive displays that tell the story of the RMS Titanic's construction, voyage and sinking. You walk through recreated ship interiors, examine over 100 artifacts, encounter a towering iceberg installation, and experience the ship's final hours through immersive technology. A VIP upgrade adds virtual reality exploration of the actual wreck site resting more than 2.5 miles beneath the ocean.

The experience

The exhibition opens with the ship's construction and moves through passenger and crew stories, using artifacts, large-scale projections, 3D visuals and interactive elements to build the historical narrative. You're not watching a film or following a guide. You move through the spaces at your own pace, stopping to read plaques, examine objects in cases, and engage with the interactive stations. The recreated interiors let you stand inside the spaces where the voyage unfolded, and the multimedia environments shift the mood as the story progresses toward the collision and evacuation.

The physical centerpiece is a towering iceberg installation and a lifeboat exhibit where you can interact directly with the display. These moments anchor the emotional weight of the story in something tangible rather than just projected or narrated. The whole experience takes about 75 minutes to move through at a comfortable pace, though you can spend more time at any station that holds your attention.

The VIP option adds a virtual reality expedition that takes you down to the actual wreck site on the ocean floor: a separate immersive experience that complements the exhibition upstairs. You also receive a commemorative poster with the VIP upgrade. The exhibition is wheelchair accessible, stroller-friendly for families with small children, and open to all fitness levels since you set the pace.
