The experience

The show starts when you arrive at the theater and the box office team gets you checked in and seated. You can grab a drink or popcorn at the bar while you settle in, then the lights dim and the performers take the stage. What happens next is unscripted: the cast builds scenes based on audience suggestions and riffs in real time, so no two shows are the same.

Front Porch Improv was created by four former New Yorkers who moved to Savannah and built a cast of trained performers. The actors are graduates of Upright Citizens Brigade in New York, People's Improv Theatre in New York, iO in Chicago, The Groundlings in Los Angeles, and Theatre 99 in Charleston, plus local talent. The group has performed at the Chicago Improv Festival, New York SketchFest, and the DC Comedy Festival. CONNECT SAVANNAH named them "a leading force in the comedy scene… consistently providing incredible improv comedy performances."

The theater is air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible, with accessible restrooms and surfaces throughout. Public transportation options are nearby. The show may include adult language and runs approximately 90 minutes.
