The experience

You'll ride through Santa Barbara wine country in a private luxury vehicle (black car, limo or mini-coach depending on your group size), while the guide handles the route and the tastings. The tour stops at three small family wineries in the Santa Ynez Valley, where you taste their Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, sparkling wine and Syrah. If you have winery preferences from the operator's list, you can request them ahead of time, though the final stops depend on availability that day.

Lunch is a picnic served at one of the wineries or vineyards you visit, with sandwich options including roast chicken with pesto and feta, Italian combo with prosciutto and salami, roast turkey, roast beef and horseradish cheddar, black forest ham and Swiss, goat cheese with roasted red peppers, or avocado and provolone. Vegetarian options are available. Bottled water is included throughout the day.

Hotel pickup and drop-off are included from Solvang, Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, Buellton or Los Alamos. The guide speaks English or Spanish. You'll need to be at least 21 years old to participate.
