The experience

After you book, you'll get confirmation with setup instructions and can start the experience anytime that works for you. Download the mobile app, pick your route (walking downtown or driving the outskirts), and the exact starting point unlocks. The game works on Normal Mode or Hard Mode if you want to dial up the difficulty. You can play solo, as a pair on one device, or split into competing teams. The scoring system tracks how well each detective (or team) performs.

At each of the 10 stops, you park or stand in place and listen to the audio story unfold through professional voice actors playing 16 different characters. The narrative guides you through what to observe, what questions to ask, and which clues matter. You gather evidence as you move through the mapped locations, piecing together the case details. The GPS map on your phone shows you turn-by-turn directions so navigation stays out of the way.

Once you've visited all the stops and collected the evidence, you make your deductions and issue an arrest warrant. The app calculates your Case Performance Score based on how accurately you solved the case. For walking routes, the experience works best with a maximum of two people per device using earbuds so everyone hears the audio clearly. If you're driving, one person can be the designated player while the whole vehicle listens through the car's sound system. You can take breaks anytime during the 2.5-hour window, so the pace is entirely yours.
