Private Lake Erie Walleye Fishing Charter in Erie PA

Fish Lake Erie's legendary walleye grounds with a captain who knows where they are

A private walleye fishing charter on Lake Erie departing from Erie, Pennsylvania puts your group on a modern bass boat with a licensed captain, all fishing equipment, and four hours to pursue trophy-sized fish or steady action depending on your goal. Morning and afternoon departures are available. Fishing licenses are included in some options and required in others, so confirm at checkout. Beginners and experienced anglers alike fish the same legendary water, with the captain tailoring the approach to your group's experience level.

The experience

Lake Erie holds one of North America's most consistent walleye fisheries, and a private charter means your captain focuses entirely on your group's goals instead of splitting attention across multiple parties. You fish from a modern bass boat with rods, reels, tackle, artificial lures, safety equipment, ice and bottled water all provided: beginners arrive ready to learn, and experienced anglers can concentrate on reading the water and the bite. The captain brings local knowledge of current conditions and proven techniques built on seasons of fishing these waters.

You choose between a morning departure at 6:30am or 7am, or an afternoon departure at 11am, 2pm, or later, depending on which option suits your schedule. A four-hour trip gives you time to work multiple areas and adjust strategy as conditions change. Bring your favorite snacks and beverages beyond the bottled water provided. The boat has local bathroom facilities at the marina before departure. All areas and surfaces are wheelchair accessible, and the boat accommodates families with infants and small children.

The captain is a licensed professional who speaks English and focuses on safety alongside the fishing itself. Whether you're introducing your family to angling, chasing a trophy walleye, or putting legal keeper fish in the cooler for the table, the trip adapts to what your group wants from the day on the water.
