The experience
The tour starts after you board a modern center console or large deck boat equipped with the latest navigation and safety technology. You'll cruise casually along mansions and mangroves until you reach Cape Harbour, the gate to the ocean, then head toward Sanibel Island. Your first stop is San Carlos Bay, where you can relax, have drinks or snacks, and watch dolphins being curious and playful in the water.
From there, the boat crosses to Sanibel Island Lighthouse and into the Gulf of Mexico after passing through the COLRegs: the imaginary line where international boating regulations apply. You'll have the chance to photograph the lighthouse, which still stands after Hurricane Ian. The return to home port gives you time to review the pictures you've taken and share the memories made aboard with the captain and first mate, who guide the entire day.
