The experience
The meal comes first: arrive 60 to 75 minutes early and work through the all-you-can-eat spread. BBQ pulled pork, mac and cheese, baked beans, dinner rolls, dessert and bottomless Coke products. The buffet closes five minutes before the show begins, so you're fed and seated when the lumberjacks take over.
The competition itself runs 90 minutes of real lumberjacks, not actors, performing events like underhand chop, standing block chop, springboard chop, speed climbing, log rolling, boom run, ax throw, hot saw and cross cut. The show encourages heckling and booing from the crowd, but warn your group that too much smack talk gets you pulled on stage to face off against the professionals. The whole setup is built for families. Children from age 4 are welcome, and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible.

Is this one for you?The early arrival window is what makes the all-you-can-eat buffet work. You eat at your own pace before the show starts, so you're not rushed or distracted by the performance. If your group likes to eat first and socialize over the meal, plan the full 75 minutes. If you prefer to grab a quick plate and settle in, you can do that too.
