A 3-hour catamaran adventure from Panama City Beach to Shell Island combines unlimited use of an inflatable water park—trampolines, slides, a seesaw called the "rockit"—with kayaking, paddleboarding and snorkeling in the Grand Lagoon. The boat returns through the Gulf of Mexico looking for dolphins. All equipment and activities are included; food can be brought aboard, though beverages must be purchased onboard.

The Experience

The 52-foot catamaran Privateer leaves Panama City Beach and sails through the Grand Lagoon toward Shell Island, where the inflatable park is anchored on the calmer St. Andrews Bay side. This setup matters: the inflatables stay protected from Gulf swells and strong currents, so the water stays manageable for jumping, sliding and bouncing no matter what the open ocean is doing. The boat carries tropical scenery and music, and dolphins often appear during the sail over.

Once anchored, the inflatable playground is yours to use as much as you want. Water trampolines, the "rockit" seesaw and slides fill the three hours, but you don't have to stay on them. Kayaks and paddleboards sit ready if you want to paddle out and explore Shell Island's natural edges, and snorkeling gear is there if the water calls for it. The bow has two sunning nets where you can lie back, listen to music and sip the signature Privateer Punch or other drinks from the onboard bar (card payments only). A restroom is onboard. The catamaran's crew is live and English-speaking throughout.

When the three hours wrap up, the boat heads back toward Panama City Beach through the Gulf, where the crew watches for dolphins. Food can come with you, but outside beverages aren't allowed—the bar handles drinks and snacks, and chips are available to purchase if you want them. A 5–7 minute walk down the dock gets you to the catamaran at the start; if you'll need help with that walk, let the operator know ahead of time.
