The experience
How do you spot wild dolphins without spending half the day on the water? The Islander Dolphin Watch keeps the whole thing to 90 minutes, which means you get the search and the sightings without losing the rest of your Panama City Beach day. The boat runs through Grand Lagoon and St. Andrews Bay (the places where Atlantic bottlenose dolphins actually hunt), so you're not just cruising. You're going where the captain knows to look.
Once you're aboard, the work is done. Settle into shaded seating if you want to stay out of the sun, or climb to the spacious sun deck for the full view. The captain handles the navigation and the spotting while you listen to the onboard playlist, step up to the galley bar for a drink or snack, or just watch the water. Infants stay on an adult's lap. Everyone else has room to move around. The boat has restrooms, so a 90-minute trip doesn't mean holding it until you're back on land.
Arrive 30 minutes before your departure time to check in at the ticket booth. That's the only planning you need to do. No outside food or drinks are allowed on board, and no smoking or chewing gum. The captain is live and speaks English, so you'll hear what's happening as it happens instead of guessing at what you're seeing.
What’s included
