The Experience
The tour starts in Page with a safety briefing before you climb into a comfortable, trail-ready UTV. Your guide handles all the driving—no experience needed—so you can focus on the landscape rolling past. The route winds through a mix of sandy washes, rolling slickrock, and desert trails that climb toward the area's best viewpoints.
The highlight is reaching an overlook where Lake Powell stretches out below in shades of turquoise, framed by towering sandstone cliffs and the sculpted rock formations of Glen Canyon. You'll have time here to take photos and soak in the scale of the water against the surrounding red rock. Depending on the season, you might also see the distant Navajo Mountain or the colorful layers of buttes and mesas that frame the lake.
The ride covers Glen Canyon's geology and the Colorado River views along the way. Water is included; bring a refillable bottle if you have one. Helmets and goggles are provided, and a premium damage waiver covers the vehicle. The 2-person minimum applies per UTV.
