Themed escape rooms, an hour to solve your way out, a guide who helps when you're stuck

The Escape Game in Orange offers six themed escape room adventures, each a 60-minute puzzle challenge for teams of up to 8 players (12 for Playground). You arrive, meet your game guide, and spend the hour finding clues and solving puzzles together to complete your mission and escape. Each room—Timeliner, Prison Break, Cosmic Crisis, The Heist, Playground, and The Depths—is family-friendly and includes multiple rooms.

The Experience

Your team works together to find clues, solve puzzles, and complete a mission. Once you arrive at The Escape Game in Orange, a dedicated game guide takes you into your chosen adventure and helps as needed. You have exactly 60 minutes to escape. The guide stays with you the whole time, so if you're stuck on a puzzle, they can nudge you in the right direction without handing you the answer. Teamwork, communication, and a sense of adventure are what it takes—and the game itself does the rest.

You pick one of six rooms before you arrive. Timeliner: Train Through Time sends you back to save the future. Prison Break is the most challenging: complete a daring escape from an evil warden. Cosmic Crisis, the newest and most high-tech, asks you to destroy a black hole. The Heist has you recovering a stolen masterpiece from an art thief. Playground is built around completing a report card to reach summer break. The Depths puts you inside a lab where you uncover its secrets. Each one is designed for multiple rooms and multiple puzzles, so the hour moves through different spaces and different kinds of problems.

Groups go up to 8 players in most rooms, and up to 12 in Playground. The space is wheelchair accessible, and infants can come along in a pram or stroller. Service animals are welcome. No escape room experience is required—the games are built so that anyone can play, and the guide is there to keep things moving if a puzzle stalls the group.

Top questions

What happens if my team can't solve a puzzle in time?

Your game guide is in the room with you the whole time and will help you as needed. The goal is to complete your mission and escape within 60 minutes, and the guide makes sure you stay on track without just giving away the answers.

Can I bring young children to an escape room in Orange?

Yes. The Escape Game rooms are family-friendly, and infants and small children can come along in a pram or stroller. Playground is specifically designed as a lighter challenge, making it a good choice for younger players.

How many people should be in a team?

Most rooms accommodate up to 8 players; Playground holds up to 12. Smaller groups work fine—the puzzles are designed so that everyone has something to do, and the guide adjusts the pacing to fit your team size.

Do I need escape room experience to play?

No. The games are built for all skill levels, and your guide will help you learn how to approach the puzzles as you go. The first few clues get you into the rhythm, and the rest builds from there.

Which escape room should I choose if this is my first time?

Cosmic Crisis is the newest and most high-tech, so it's a great introduction to what the venue offers. Prison Break is the most challenging if your group likes a real puzzle fight. Playground is the lightest option and works well for families with younger players or groups new to escape rooms.

What's included in the 60 minutes?

Your escape room adventure, your game guide, and all the puzzles and clues inside your chosen room. The 60 minutes is your play time; arrive a few minutes early for check-in and a quick briefing on how the game works.
