The experience
Four hours is enough to hit the best of Cape Cod's night sky subjects without rushing. You'll photograph Nauset Light, Cape Cod Light, Three Sisters, Stage Harbor and Hardings Beach: each one lit differently depending on whether you choose a moonlight or starlight (Milky Way) tour. The guide picks the route based on the sky conditions available that night, so you're not guessing which locations will work. You're shooting the ones that will actually deliver.
The class teaches long exposure and flashlight techniques to turn familiar daytime subjects into something new. You bring your camera gear and a willingness to work in the dark. The guide handles the rest. Transportation to all locations is included: pickup happens at your hotel, Airbnb or rental anywhere on Cape Cod, and you get dropped off safely when the evening ends. Participants receive printed course material during the tour and printed image processing guidance afterward, so you leave with both the technical foundation and a matted print from that night's shoot.
All experience levels are welcome here. The guide is the area's only full-time night photographer, so the locations and timing are built around what actually works on Cape Cod after dark, not a generic itinerary. Before you book, contact the guide to confirm availability and to learn what moon phase and sky conditions will be in store for your chosen date.
