The experience
The helicopter lifts off from downtown Manhattan and immediately passes the Brooklyn Bridge as you climb. From there the route sweeps south over New York Harbor, bringing the Statue of Liberty into view for photos, then circles back north past Governors Island with downtown as the backdrop. You'll fly above the 9/11 Memorial, see One World Trade Center (the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere), and pass the Empire State Building and Chrysler Building at eye level.
The flight continues west over Hudson Yards and the Vessel, then heads uptown past Madison Square Garden, Times Square and Rockefeller Center. Central Park comes into view next, followed by Columbia University and the George Washington Bridge at the northern tip of Manhattan. On the return, the route passes Yankee Stadium, the Palisade cliffs of New Jersey, and the Verrazzano Bridge connecting Staten Island and Brooklyn, ending with a pass over Coney Island before heading back to the heliport.
The cabin is climate-controlled with floor-to-ceiling windows so you're not shooting through glass, and the pilot provides live commentary throughout.
