Set your own route across two boroughs and skip the subway lines.

Rent a bike in Brooklyn with pickup at Court Street and explore Manhattan and Brooklyn at your own pace, choosing from rental durations between 1 hour and a full day. The rental includes a map, helmet, lock and basket, so you navigate independently and stop anywhere: Little Italy, Chinatown, Wall Street, Battery Park, the Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn Heights are all within reach. Drop the bike off before 7pm the same day.

The experience

Pick up your bike at the rental shop on Court Street in Brooklyn, a short ride from Brooklyn Bridge Park, Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO. You get a bike, helmet, map, lock and basket. Everything you need to move through the city without planning stops in advance or waiting for transit. The map shows which attractions cluster together: Little Italy, Chinatown, Wall Street and Battery Park all sit within about a mile of each other, so you can link them in whatever order makes sense for your day.

The Brooklyn Bridge crossing is the centerpiece. You'll ride across it and get unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline, then explore Brooklyn's neighborhoods on the other side: DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights and Brooklyn Bridge Park are all bikeable from there. If you rent for a full day, you have time to push north into Manhattan and reach Central Park. The East River and Hudson River paths offer flat, easy riding with fresh air instead of subway crowds. Lock up and walk around whenever something catches your eye: a restaurant, a shop, a street you want to explore on foot. The rental durations run from 1 hour up to a full day, so you choose how far to go and how long to linger.

Drop the bike back at the shop before 7pm. Because you've pre-booked and pre-paid, pickup is fast. The app offers an expedited check-in line so you're riding within minutes of arriving. Rentals sell out weeks ahead during peak season, so booking ahead locks in your bike and your time.

What’s included

Top questions

Can children come?

Yes. Ticket types: Child (1 to 12 years).

Can I ride the Brooklyn Bridge on this rental bike?

Yes. The Brooklyn Bridge crossing is part of the route. You ride across it to reach Brooklyn neighborhoods like DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights, and the ride gives you full views of the Manhattan skyline from the bridge itself.

How do I know where to go if I've never biked in New York before?

The rental includes a printed map that shows attractions and neighborhoods, so you can see which sights cluster together (Little Italy, Chinatown, Wall Street and Battery Park are all within a mile of each other), and plan your own route without a guide.

What if I want to bike longer than a few hours?

You can rent for a full day, which gives you time to explore farther north into Manhattan and reach Central Park, or to spend more time in Brooklyn neighborhoods like Brooklyn Bridge Park and Brooklyn Heights without rushing.

Do I need to bring anything besides myself?
