The experience

The aquarium sits right across the boardwalk from Coney Island and holds sharks, rays, sea otters, octopus, jellyfish and more. You move through at your own pace. There's no set route or guide timing you. The sea lion shows and penguin feeds run on their own schedule throughout the day, so you can catch whichever ones fit the time you arrive. Sand tiger sharks and common cuttlefish are among the animals you'll see as you walk the tanks.

Your admission includes one entry to the 4D Theater, which adds a different kind of show to the visit. The aquarium is wheelchair accessible, and strollers work fine if you're bringing small children. Public transportation options are nearby, and the whole visit typically takes between one and two hours depending on how long you linger at each tank.

What’s included

  • Flexible admission anytime on your selected date.
  • one entry to the 4D Theater.
  • access to all aquarium exhibits including shark, ray, sea otter and jellyfish tanks.
