The Experience

You walk into MoMoney at 501 Elm Street in downtown Dallas and the first thing that hits you is how much there is to actually do. This isn't a museum where you stand behind velvet ropes looking at things in cases. The laser vault heist is the kind of thing that sounds gimmicky until you're in it, trying to crack the code before the alarm goes off. After that, the exhibits keep moving — you design your own currency, spot counterfeit bills, step into installations that are built for photos, and there's a whole section where you can literally bathe in cash (it's play money, but still). The whole place has this energy that feels less like a school trip and more like someone built an arcade around the history of money.
