The experience

You start on Ocean Drive and walk seven blocks with your guide, stopping at the actual movie shooting locations that line the street. The guide points out which hotels and nightclubs served as sets for blockbusters, and tells the stories behind them: the scandals, the ownership, the reason a particular building mattered to Miami's rise as a film destination. You'll pass through Lummus Park, the oldest public park in Miami Beach, which stretches along the Ocean Drive promenade, and hear how it became the backdrop for so many scenes.

From there, the route moves to Espanola Way, a pedestrian street full of restaurants and boutique hotels where the guide explains the Art Deco style you're seeing: how to recognize it, why it mattered, what made these buildings different from what came before.
