The moment you walk into Madame Tussauds Orlando on International Drive, you're already posing with someone famous. No velvet barriers, no distance — you step right up to Shaq, Pitbull, Rihanna, Leonardo DiCaprio. The wax figures are so precise you'll catch yourself checking if they're breathing. There are over 200 of them spread across seven themed rooms, and the museum doesn't rush you through. You can touch actual celebrity hand casts, see the authentic props from the archives, and if you want, create your own wax hand as a keepsake.

What makes this different from just looking at statues is the backstory. The museum walks you through how Marie Tussaud started this whole thing, then shows you the actual sculpting and finishing process — the detail work that makes these figures look alive. You'll see the tools, the molds, the layers of work that go into getting a face right. If you want to add more to the day, the combo ticket lets you upgrade to SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium and The Orlando Eye without booking separately. The Orlando Eye is a 400-foot observation wheel with climate-controlled capsules; the view at sunset or after dark is the kind of thing you'll scroll back to for months. All three attractions sit at ICON Park, so you're not driving between stops.

One thing to know: The Orlando Eye is closed Mondays and Tuesdays through June 2026. If you book a combo ticket for a closed date, you get 14 days to visit the Eye on a different day, so it's not a lost ticket. Madame Tussauds itself is open daily, and the whole experience at ICON Park on International Drive is walkable — restaurants, shops, and other attractions are right there if you need a break between museums.
