60 minutes to crack the code and escape together

A 60-minute escape room adventure at King of Prussia Mall where you and your team solve puzzles, find clues and complete a mission inside a locked room with a live guide. Choose from four games: Prison Break, The Heist, Playground or Legend of the Yeti. An adult must accompany anyone 14 and under; games are recommended for ages 13 and up.

The Experience

You arrive 15 minutes early to brief with your game guide, who walks you through the rules and your mission. Then the door locks and the clock starts. For the next 60 minutes, you and your team hunt for clues hidden in the room, solve puzzles that unlock the next stage, and piece together what needs to happen to escape. The guide watches from outside and can offer hints if you get stuck—you're not alone in this, just separated by a locked door that has an exit button if anyone needs to leave. The games aren't dark or scary; they're designed to be exciting and solvable, and they work for groups up to 8 players (Playground holds up to 12).

Pick your adventure before you arrive. Prison Break has you escaping from an evil warden. The Heist asks you to recover a stolen masterpiece from an art thief. Playground flips the script—you're completing a report card to earn summer break. Legend of the Yeti sends you into the Himalayas. Each one is a different puzzle set and story, so the game you choose shapes what you're solving for and who you're working against. Groups can book a private game if you reserve all the spots, or you might share the room with other players booking the same adventure.

After you escape (or time runs out), you get 15 minutes to debrief with your guide and take photos. The whole experience—briefing, playing and photos—takes about 75 minutes from arrival to leaving. King of Prussia Mall sits in the Philly area with over 450 stores and 30+ dining options nearby, and public transportation stops close by. Wheelchair accessible; service animals welcome.

Top questions

What happens if we can't solve all the puzzles in 60 minutes?

The game ends at 60 minutes whether you've escaped or not. Your guide debriefs you on what you solved and what you missed, and you get time for photos before the next group comes in. Escape rooms are designed to be challenging, and not every team makes it out—that's part of the game.

Can kids under 13 play the escape rooms?

Games are recommended for ages 13 and up because some puzzle content may be too difficult for younger players. Children under 13 can play, but an adult 18 or older must participate with anyone 14 and under, and that adult needs to sign the waiver.

Do we have to book a private game or can we play with strangers?

Unless you book every spot in a game, other players may join your team in the same room. If you want a private experience with just your group, you can reserve all the spots when you book.

What is Prison Break about?

Prison Break is an escape from an evil warden—you're locked in a prison room and need to solve puzzles and find clues to break out within 60 minutes.

Is there a way to leave the room if someone feels uncomfortable?

Yes. Every locked door has an exit button, and you're welcome to leave the room at any time if you need to. The guide is monitoring from outside and can help if anyone wants out.

How long does the whole experience take, including setup?

Plan for about 75 minutes total: 15 minutes of briefing and preparation before the game starts, 60 minutes inside the room, and 15 minutes after to debrief and take photos.
