The experience
Four hours on the water means you spend the morning fishing instead of driving. The guide picks you up in a 4x4 UTV and takes you to the launch spot on the Verde River, a 20-minute drive from Sedona. You get a kayak, life vest, fishing poles and tackle. Everything you need to fish largemouth and smallmouth bass and rainbow trout. The guide knows the private runs that don't get fished much and will show you where the fish are biting.
The Verde River here is the guide's backyard. You'll fish the honey holes, the spots where fish hold, and learn what's working that day. The runs are private, which means fewer people and more fish. You're not on a crowded public stretch. You're on water the guide has chosen because it produces.
