The Experience
Opaeka'a Falls—a 151-foot drop visible from the highway—opens the day. You'll see it from a lookout point, then move through rainforests and valleys toward the north shore, stopping at spots the guide identifies from movie scenes: the mountainous region where Raiders of the Lost Ark was filmed, the chocolate tasting room in Lydgate, and the quieter corners of Hanalei Town where you have time to walk and eat on your own. The Hanalei Pier itself, famous from Beachhead, sits at the end of a short stroll through the town.
Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge closes the loop—a lava peninsula with sprawling views that appeared in Lilo and Stitch. The guide plays film clips from inside the coach at each location, so you're seeing both the real place and the moment it became part of a movie. Lunch happens in Hanalei Town, where you choose where to eat; the tour picks up again after.
The airfare is included in the price, though flight times and routes can shift based on availability, and overage charges may apply if fares spike. You'll need a valid government-issued ID—a passport if you're not a U.S. citizen—and the name on your booking must match exactly what's on that ID. The TSA and FAA don't bend on this one. Infants sit on an adult's lap; strollers and service animals are welcome.

What's the 151-foot waterfall I'll see on this Kauai tour?
Opaeka'a Falls is the main waterfall stop, visible from a lookout along the highway. It appeared in the films Wackiest Ship in the Army and Blue Hawaii, and the guide will point out those connections from the coach.
Which movies were actually filmed on the locations I'll visit?
Jurassic Park filmed its famous dinosaur egg scene in Hanalei Town; Raiders of the Lost Ark used the mountainous region inland; The Descendants with George Clooney was filmed at Tahiti Nui; Lilo and Stitch featured Kilauea Point; and Beachhead used Hanalei Pier as a backdrop.
Do I have to arrange my own lunch, or is it included?
Lunch is on your own in Hanalei Town, where you'll have time to browse shops and galleries and choose where to eat before the tour continues.
How long is the whole day from start to finish?
The tour runs 16 hours total, including the roundtrip flights from Oahu, ground transport from Lihue Airport, the guided sightseeing route and the return to your starting point.
What do I need to bring for the interisland flights?
You'll need a valid government-issued ID—a passport if you're not a U.S. citizen—and the name on your booking must match exactly what appears on that ID. The TSA and FAA require this with no exceptions, and passengers denied boarding receive no refund.
