Race through Houston on your terms, solving puzzles and snapping proof along the way.

An app-led scavenger hunt through Houston's Museum District where you and your team navigate landmarks, solve riddles and complete photo challenges using the Let's Roam app. You set the pace and start time, moving between stops like Miller Outdoor Theatre, the Japanese Garden and McGovern Centennial Gardens while competing on a live leaderboard. The hunt takes roughly two hours and includes digital copies of your photos, support via phone or email, and role-based challenges so each player has a different job.

The Experience

Download the Let's Roam app, and you're ready to start whenever you want—no guide, no fixed departure time, no waiting for a group to assemble. The app feeds you riddles tied to real landmarks around Houston's Museum District, and you solve them by finding the spot and snapping a photo as proof. Miller Outdoor Theatre, the Japanese Garden, the Pioneer Memorial Obelisk, McGovern Centennial Gardens: each stop reveals a new puzzle and a chance to rack up points on the leaderboard your team can see in real time.

Every player picks a role before the hunt starts—Brainiac, Photographer or Mapper—so the challenges shift based on who you are. The Brainiac tackles the riddles, the Photographer frames the proof shots, the Mapper navigates the route. That split keeps everyone engaged instead of one person leading and the rest following. You move at whatever pace works: sprint through all the stops in ninety minutes or linger at a garden for an hour and finish later. The app has the maps built in, so you're not hunting for directions on top of everything else.

Bring a fully charged phone—the app runs the whole hunt, so battery matters. Comfortable shoes are essential; you'll be walking between landmarks across the district. The hunt works for groups of any size, from a friend group to a corporate team to a bachelorette party, and kids as young as five can play. If your phone dies mid-hunt, a power bank keeps you going, and Let's Roam support is available by phone, email or chat if you get stuck on a riddle or need help with the app.
