The Experience
You meet at Palmetto Bay Marina 30 minutes before your departure time. After a quick safety briefing and life jacket check, you and your guide head out on the water, cruising past the mansions that line the Hilton Head shoreline on the way to the open riding area. The scenery shifts as you leave the developed waterfront behind.
Once you reach the designated zone, you take the controls. The Yamaha Waverunner responds to how you handle it—throttle up for speed or dial it back to cruise and watch for wildlife. Dolphins surface regularly in these waters, and you might see herons, egrets or even a sea turtle. A professional guide stays with the group, but the riding is yours to shape. You set the pace for the full 90 minutes.
The weight limit is 300 pounds for a single jet ski or 425 pounds for a double. You can book one jet ski for yourself or share one with a passenger (who must be at least 6 years old). Either way, fuel and the life jacket are covered, so you only need to bring a valid driver's license—the staff will check it before you ride.
