The Escape Game at Grapevine Mills is a 60-minute escape room experience where teams of up to 8 players (12 in Playground) solve puzzles and follow clues to complete a mission together. A live guide in English leads you through one of three games: Prison Break, The Heist, or Playground. You'll spend about 15 minutes in briefing before the game starts and another 15 minutes after to debrief and take photos. The games are not scary or dark—they're designed to be exciting and accessible to all fitness levels, though they're recommended for ages 13 and up.

The Experience

Can you and your team crack the code before time runs out? That's the core of what happens here: you arrive at Grapevine Mills Mall, get briefed on your mission by a dedicated game guide, and then you have exactly 60 minutes to find clues, solve puzzles, and complete your escape. The three games—Prison Break (escape from an evil warden), The Heist (recover a stolen masterpiece), and Playground (complete your report card to reach summer break)—each demand teamwork, communication, and problem-solving under the clock. Prison Break and The Heist hold up to 8 players; Playground accommodates up to 12.

The games are designed to be intense but not intimidating. They're not dark or scary—they're adventurous and built so all guests can engage, regardless of fitness level. A live guide stays with you throughout, offering help when you need it and keeping the energy moving. The whole experience, from arrival to departure, takes about an hour and a half when you factor in the 15-minute briefing before and the 15-minute debrief and photo session after. If you feel the need to leave the room at any point, an exit button is always available.

Grapevine Mills Mall sits in North Texas and has plenty of food options nearby—Rainforest Cafe, Applebee's, Kelly's Cajun Grill, and Wild Berry for dessert—so you can celebrate a win or recover from a loss with your team right there. The location is wheelchair accessible, public transportation is available nearby, and the space welcomes service animals. Unless you book all the spots in a game, you may be joined by other players who booked separately, turning it into a shared experience with new teammates.
