The experience
You operate the vehicle yourself on terrain that has stood in for film locations for decades. The trails wind through towering red rock cliffs, deep canyons with hidden caves, cascading waterfalls, alpine meadows and ancient lava flows: each turn opens a new angle on the landscape. A live guide leads the way and sets the pace, so you're not navigating solo. The route takes in Mammoth Caves, Strawberry Loop and the Lavafields while you get 360-degree views of the desert stretching to the horizon.
The Polaris RZR Pro S handles the terrain, and the operator outfits you with helmet, goggles and vehicle-specific safety gear before you leave. You get a trail map and a suggested route with a list of sites to hit, so you know where you're headed. The 4-hour option covers the core loop. The 8-hour experience lets you linger at stops and explore deeper into the landscape. Both work for all fitness levels. The trails are graded for beginners and seasoned riders, so you're not racing or proving anything, just riding.
Riders must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license to operate a standard RZR. Turbo models require you to be 25+. The experience is self-guided in the sense that you're driving, but guided in the sense that someone leads the group and knows the terrain. Service animals are welcome, and public transportation options exist nearby if you need them to reach the starting point.

Top questions
Can I ride an ATV in Duck Creek if I've never done it before?
Yes. The trails are designed for all skill levels, with beginner-friendly routes and more adventurous terrain for experienced riders. A live guide leads the group and sets the pace, so you're not alone on the trail.
What's the difference between the 4-hour and 8-hour ATV experiences?
Both cover the same core terrain: Mammoth Caves, Strawberry Loop, the Lavafields and the red rock canyons. The 8-hour option gives you more time to linger at stops and explore deeper into the landscape. The 4-hour experience covers the main loop at a steadier pace.
What do I need to bring or know before I ride?
You need a valid driver's license and must be at least 21 years old (25+ for turbo RZR models). The operator provides helmet, goggles, safety gear, a trail map and navigation equipment. Wear clothes suitable for sun and wind, and bring water if you prefer your own.
Do I drive the ATV myself or does a guide drive?
You operate the Polaris RZR Pro S yourself. A live guide leads the group on the trail, sets the pace and knows the terrain, but you're behind the wheel the whole time.
What are Mammoth Caves and Strawberry Loop like on the trail?
Mammoth Caves are hidden cave systems you visit as part of the route through the canyons. Strawberry Loop is a scenic stretch of trail that winds through alpine meadow and rock formations. Both are stops on the guided experience where you can pause and take in the landscape.
