The tour starts and finishes in Deep Ellum, the neighborhood that anchors both ends of the ride. From there, you'll roll through the Dallas Arts District: the largest contiguous urban arts district in the nation and home to more Pritzker Prize–winning architecture than anywhere else on earth. The guide will take you past the park that sits atop the Woodall Rodgers Freeway, a deck park that links Uptown to downtown and draws over a million visitors a year, then down to the Dallas Farmers Market, where the wholesale business that started with horse-and-wagon deliveries has become a hub for farm-fresh produce and dairy.

Pioneer Plaza comes next, its cattle-drive sculptures marking the economic foundation Dallas built before oil and gas. Then you'll reach Dealey Plaza, where the tour touches on the city's founding (John Neely Bryan's trading outpost and the original path of the Trinity River), and acknowledges the plaza's place in American history as the site of President Kennedy's assassination in 1963. The route also passes the world's largest non-biological eyeball, a 30-foot sculpture that arrived in Dallas in 2013 as part of the Joule hotel's art collection, and takes in the Swiss Avenue Historic District's Victorian and Queen Anne homes.

You'll ride a Fat Tire scooter, which handles the city streets smoothly. The guide is live and speaks English throughout, so you get context and stories rather than a silent route.
