Can I see humpback whales year-round on this tour, or is there a season?
Humpback whales are present during the winter months. The near-shore zone where they gather is part of every tour, but your best chance to see them is between roughly November and April. Most tours can only reach the near-shore; this one is US Coast Guard offshore-certified to go into the pelagic zone, which very few operators do.
How long is the tour, and what should I bring?
The tour runs two and a half hours. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. Cold beverages are provided, and the boats have onboard bathrooms and dry storage for your belongings.
