The Experience
Rodeo Drive is a two-mile street in the heart of Beverly Hills, known as one of the most expensive shopping corridors in the world. The walk starts in the Golden Triangle—the commercial district bordered by Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard and North Crescent Drive—and moves through the storefronts and landmarks that define the neighborhood. You'll pass the bright yellow storefront of Bijan, the ultra-exclusive appointment-only boutique known as "the most expensive store in the world," and walk Two Rodeo, the luxury shopping and dining destination housing Tiffany & Co., Versace, Jimmy Choo and other flagship designers. A guide leads the route at a pace that lets you absorb the details: the architecture, the history, the way the district was built.
The tour includes stops at the iconic Beverly Hills shield signs—photo landmarks steeped in the neighborhood's identity—and the Witch's House, a 1921 fairytale-like mansion originally built as offices and dressing rooms for a silent film studio. You'll walk through Beverly Gardens, a 1.9-mile linear park along Santa Monica Boulevard that features art sculptures, specialty gardens including a Cactus Garden and Rose Garden, and the Doheny Fountain. The route also passes Beverly Hills City Hall, a historic building that anchors the civic center, and ends at Santa Monica Boulevard, the historic western terminus of Route 66, where the nostalgia of a bygone era still lingers in the street itself.
Water and small snacks—chips or a granola bar—are provided throughout the walk. The guide speaks English or Spanish and moves at a relaxed pace; the tour is wheelchair accessible, suitable for all fitness levels, and stroller-friendly for infants and small children. Service animals are welcome. Public transportation stops are nearby if you're staying elsewhere in Los Angeles or arriving without a car.
