The experience

You arrive at your Vail hotel or condo after travel, and the last thing you want is to spend an hour in a rental shop before you can ski. With this service, you place your order before you get there (skis, poles, boots, and snowboard options available), and Black Tie delivers everything to your door at whatever time works for your first day. A technician fits your boots and bindings while you're still in your room, making sure the setup is right before you leave for the mountain.

The rental runs for five days, and you pick the return window that fits your schedule. If something feels off on the slopes (a binding adjustment, a boot pressure point, anything), you call and a technician meets you slope-side to fix it. When you're done, you call again and they collect the gear from your lodging. Deliveries happen between 7:30am and 10pm, so early starts and late arrivals both work without extra planning.

Black Tie services 36 resorts across the region and stocks top-tier equipment. Helmets are available to add to your rental if you want them. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, so the only thing you carry is yourself.
