Montevideo Airport to Hotel: Private Transfer & Flight Tracking

Land in Montevideo and skip the taxi queue

You get picked up at the information booth by a driver who has tracked your flight, ride in an air-conditioned car with luggage assistance, and communicate directly via WhatsApp to confirm timing and any stops. No waiting for a shuttle, no haggling over the fare. Just a fixed-price ride to your hotel that accounts for delays and lets you ask for what you need.

Step-by-step itinerary

Private transfer from airport to hotel

• Meet driver at information booth
• Driver holds sign with your name
• Assist with luggage to car
• Transfer to hotel in Montevideo

The experience

Your driver is already tracking your flight. The moment you clear customs at Carrasco International Airport, you'll see him at the information booth with a sign bearing his name: no hunting through the arrivals hall, no negotiating a fare at the curb. He'll help load your luggage into an air-conditioned vehicle and you're heading straight to your hotel in Montevideo without the usual airport transfer friction.

The whole thing runs on WhatsApp. Before you land, you confirm your arrival time and meeting point directly with the driver: no middleman, no surprises. If your flight delays, he knows it. If you need to stop for a coffee or grab something you forgot, you can ask. It's the kind of private transfer that works because someone is actually paying attention to your specific arrival, not just running a set route on a schedule.

From the airport to most hotels in Montevideo takes around 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic and where you're staying. The driver can point out neighborhoods as you go, or you can just sit quietly after a long flight: that part is up to you. If you're interested, the company can also arrange a winery visit on the way, though that's optional and needs to be confirmed ahead of time.
