The View at The Palm Jumeirah: 52nd-floor observation deck
Step onto the open-air deck for sweeping views and perfect photo moments
The View at The Palm is an observation deck on the 52nd floor of Palm Tower in Dubai, offering 360-degree panoramic views of Palm Jumeirah and the surrounding landscape. The deck has both enclosed and open viewing sections separated by a movable glass partition; the enclosed area includes seating, while the open platform provides unobstructed sightlines and photo opportunities. A café and VIP Lounge are available on-site. Children are welcome from age 2.
Step-by-step itinerary

- Visit the observation deck on 52nd floor
- Enjoy panoramic views of Palm Jumeirah

- Take photos on the open viewing platform
- Use café and VIP lounge facilities
The Experience
The observation deck sits inside Palm Tower, a 52-story architectural landmark built in the shape of a palm tree on Dubai's artificially created Palm Jumeirah. From the 52nd floor, you get views across the entire palm development and out toward the Dubai coastline. The deck itself is split into two sections: an enclosed area with comfortable seating where you can rest while looking out, and an open platform where there's nothing between you and the view—this is where the photo opportunities are strongest. A movable glass partition lets you move between them depending on the light and what you want to photograph.
The visit typically takes 30 to 40 minutes. You can spend that time moving around both sections, taking in the scale of the Palm Jumeirah layout from above, and using the café if you want to sit longer. The VIP Lounge is also available if you want a quieter space. Public transportation options are nearby if you're traveling without a car.
You'll choose between prime hours and non-prime entry when you book. Both options give you the same access to the observation deck and its facilities; the difference is the time of day you visit. The deck is suitable for all fitness levels, and children from age 2 are welcome.

Is this one for you?Book prime hours if you want the busiest time of day with the most dramatic light for photos; choose non-prime entry if you prefer a quieter visit and don't mind the time of day. Both give you the same 360-degree view and facilities—the choice is about when you want to be there and how crowded you prefer the deck to be.

What exactly is the 52nd-floor view of Palm Jumeirah like from the observation deck?
The View at The Palm shows the entire Palm Jumeirah development from above—the artificial palm-shaped island layout is visible in full, along with the surrounding Dubai coastline and water. The 360-degree view means you can see in all directions from a single location without moving around a building.
Can you go outside on the observation deck, or is it all enclosed?
The observation deck has both. An enclosed section with seating keeps you comfortable indoors, and a separate open platform lets you stand directly in the air with no glass between you and the view—this is where most people take photos.
How long do people usually spend at The View at The Palm?
Most visits run 30 to 40 minutes. That's enough time to move between the enclosed and open sections, take photos, and sit in the café or lounge if you want to stay longer.
What's the difference between prime hours and non-prime entry?
Both options include the same observation deck access and facilities. Prime hours are the busier times of day when the light and crowds tend to be heaviest; non-prime entry is during quieter periods. The view itself is the same either way.
Is there anywhere to eat or drink while you're up there?
The View at The Palm has a café on the observation deck level, so you can get refreshments without leaving. A VIP Lounge is also available if you want a quieter space to sit.
Can children visit the observation deck?
Children are welcome from age 2 onward. The deck is suitable for all fitness levels, so there are no physical demands to the visit itself.
