The day starts at Dubai Marina Walk, a 7-kilometer pedestrian promenade lined with yachts, restaurants and shops alongside the man-made canal. From there the route moves to Palm Jumeirah, the artificial archipelago shaped like a palm tree that stretches 5 kilometers into the Arabian Gulf and holds the Atlantis resort. You'll see Jumeirah Mosque, recognizable by its white stone facade and twin minarets, and stop at Jumeirah Beach to view the Burj Al Arab from the shore.

The Dubai Frame (a 150-meter-tall architectural landmark that frames the city's past and future) comes next, followed by the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building at 828 meters. The Dubai Mall, one of the world's largest shopping centers with over 1,200 stores, closes out the itinerary and sits directly below the Burj Khalifa. Throughout the day, the air-conditioned car handles all the driving between stops, and water is provided.
