The Experience
The View at the Palm sits 52 stories above Nakheel Mall, and the moment you step out of the elevator, the entire Palm Jumeirah spreads below you—the fronds, the water, the curve of it all. You're standing on an observation deck that wraps around, so there's no single vantage point; you move through it, and the view keeps changing. The Arabian Gulf is there too, and on a clear day the horizon stretches far enough that you stop trying to name what you're seeing and just look. There's a restaurant if you want to sit, a gift shop, a lounge area. Most people spend an hour here, moving around, taking photos from different angles, letting their eyes adjust to how much space is actually visible from one floor.
Then you head to Zabeel Park for the Dubai Frame—and this one is different. It's 150 meters tall, shaped like an actual frame, and the whole point is that you walk through it. The ground floor has a museum about Dubai's transformation, how the city looked before and after, which is worth twenty minutes if you're curious about the engineering and the timeline. But the real moment is the ride up. You take the elevator to the top, step onto a bridge, and there's a glass panel in the floor. Old Dubai is on one side—the creek, the older neighborhoods, the way things were—and New Dubai is on the other: the towers, the developments, the skyline everyone photographs. You're literally standing between two versions of the same city, and the glass floor means you're also standing over a 150-meter drop, which your brain notices even if you're not afraid of heights.
The whole experience takes most of a day if you're not rushing. You can use public transport to move between the two—they're not far apart—or add a transfer and let someone else handle the navigation. Either way, you're looking at two separate tickets, two separate elevators, two completely different views of the same place. It's the kind of thing that makes sense only in Dubai, where you can see the city's entire story from two different angles in a single afternoon.

How long does the whole experience take?
Most visitors spend about an hour at The View at the Palm and another hour at the Dubai Frame, including the museum. Travel time between them depends on whether you use public transport or a transfer.
Is the glass floor on the Dubai Frame bridge safe?
Yes. The bridge is engineered to hold weight safely; the glass is reinforced. It's designed to give the visual effect of height, not to pose a structural risk.
Can I bring young children?
Yes. Infants must sit on an adult's lap. Both venues are suitable for all fitness levels, though children may find the height unsettling on the glass bridge.
What's included in the ticket?
Admission to both The View at the Palm and the Dubai Frame. If you select the transfer option, pickup and drop-off are also included.
Is there food at either location?
The View at the Palm has a restaurant and café. The Dubai Frame has facilities on-site, though options are more limited than at the Palm.
Do I need to book in advance?
Availability varies. It's recommended to check and book ahead, especially during peak tourist seasons.
