Your day starts with hotel pickup and a drive to Zabeel Palace, the official residence of Dubai's ruler, for a photo stop and brief history. From there you move to the Museum of the Future, a torus-shaped building clad in Arabic calligraphy that symbolizes Dubai's commitment to innovation, then to the Dubai Frame: a 150-meter-tall rectangular structure in Zabeel Park offering panoramic views of both the historic and modern sides of the city. The abra boat ride across Dubai Creek is the day's centerpiece. These small wooden boats have ferried people across the creek for centuries.
