The experience

The adventure starts with pickup from your Dubai hotel in a clean, air-conditioned 4x4. As the city fades, the road opens toward Lahbab and the sand turns deeper red: the dunes rise ahead like glowing waves. Your safari captain shares what to expect as the landscape shifts, building the anticipation before you arrive at the buggy station and step out into the fresh desert air.

At the buggy station, you get a quick safety briefing, then climb onto the quad bike for a 25-minute self-drive ride through specially marked trails designed for safe thrills. The bike is yours to control across the high dunes. Back at the station, you capture a falcon photo and take a short camel ride for that traditional desert moment. Then you hop back into the 4x4 and head deeper into Lahbab for the main event: dune bashing. For the next 30 to 40 minutes, the SUV climbs high, drops smooth, and sweeps across the red sand with that controlled, thrilling off-road drift that feels seriously fun. Every crest opens a new view. You stop on a high dune for sandboarding, slide down the soft red sand, and get that perfect moment to capture photos as the sun sets and the dunes glow.
