The experience

The day starts with a 40–50 minute drive from your hotel to La Habab desert in an air-conditioned 4x4. Once you reach the dunes, you take over the quad bike for the main event: 30–40 minutes of dune bashing through the red sand, where the bike responds to your control and the terrain shifts under you. The pace and line are yours to choose. This is not a passenger experience.

After the riding, the tour stops in the middle of the desert for sandboarding and a photography session, then moves to the Bedouin camp. Here the rhythm changes: you ride a camel, sit for henna designs on your hands, wear traditional Arabic dress for photos, and settle in for a buffet dinner with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, cold drinks and plenty of water. The entertainment runs through the meal (belly dancing, a fire show, and a Tanura performance), and when it finishes, your guide drives you back to your hotel.

The whole experience runs about 6.5 hours from pickup to drop-off. You control the quad bike during the dune section. The guide handles the vehicle for transport and the camp portion. Four purchase options exist (Desert Safari with Quad Bike, Desert Safari with Camel Ride and BBQ Dinner in VIP Camp, Private Safari plus Premium Camp, and Premium Safari plus Premium Camp), so you can choose the camp level and whether you want the quad bike as your main activity.
