How do you fit Dubai's scattered landmarks into a morning without a rental car or the time to piece together taxis? This tour starts with pickup from your hotel and moves through the city's highlights in sequence: the Jumeirah Mosque (the most photographed in Dubai, open to non-Muslim visitors on organized tours), a photo stop at Burj Al Arab on its man-made island 280 meters offshore, and a drive through Palm Jumeirah, the world's largest artificial island. The guide narrates in English, Hindi or Urdu as you travel, so the stops make sense as you move between them.

The second half of the morning takes you into the older quarters. You walk through the textile market and the spice and gold souks in Deira: Grand Souk Deira sits steps from the Spice Souk and holds the traditional design and products most visitors come to find. The Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, built in the 1890s with narrow winding lanes between what were once 60 housing units, gives you a sense of what Dubai looked like before the towers. You also pass Zabeel Palace, the former home of Sheikh Rashid, where you can photograph the structure from a distance. The tour wraps with a stop at Dubai Frame, the world's largest frame, which was designed to visually link old Dubai and new Dubai.
