The experience

Four to five hours takes you from your hotel into the desert for an evening built around activities and food. The camel ride comes first, then sand boarding on the dunes. After that you move to the camp for henna painting while the kitchen finishes the traditional Arabic BBQ buffet. Entertainment runs through dinner (belly dance and fire dance performances), so you eat and watch at the same time.

Hotel pickup is included and shared with other travelers, which is how the price stays low. You return to your hotel after dinner, so the evening fits inside a single block of free time. The camp itself is set up for groups, with seating arranged for the meal and the show. Infants can ride in a stroller or sit on an adult's lap during the camel ride.
