The experience

One of the boats arrives at your hotel beach or a designated pickup point on Grace Bay Beach. You get fitted with a harness and life jacket, receive a safety briefing, and then you're in the air. The flight itself lasts about an hour at 500 feet: high enough to see both sides of the island at once, low enough to spot movement in the water below. The crew handles the boat and the parachute. You handle the view.

Captain Marvin Pratt has been flying since 1990, and the other captains all carry over a decade of experience. The three boats are USCG certified and built specifically for parasailing, not converted from something else. The operation has logged more than 200,000 safe flights since 1991, which is the kind of number that matters when you're about to leave the deck.
