The experience
You start at Turtle Cove Marina, where a safety briefing and quick engine check get you ready to operate the UTV yourself. The route heads east across the island, hitting nine stops over 3.5 hours. Each one trades something different: sweeping ocean views at Alexandria National Park and Sunset Beach, the colorful Turks and Caicos mural at Ports of Call for photos, the natural limestone sinkhole at Long Bay that cuts 40 feet into the ground, and the calm wetland of Flamingo Lake where seasonal birdlife moves through the shallows.
Halfway through, you pull into Mr. Grouper's Restaurant for an island-style lunch platter and soft drinks, a local spot with marina views where you can catch your breath and swap stories from the ride. After lunch, the tour swings south to the Turtle Tail region: Juba Salina Sound, where salt flats meet open water in stark color contrasts; a hidden beach tucked away from the main tourist stretch; and finally the top of Turtle Tail, the signature stop where a 360-degree vantage point frames the coastline, wetlands and open ocean all at once. The ride back to Turtle Cove Marina closes the loop.
You need a valid driver's license and must be at least 16 years old to operate the UTV. Closed-toed shoes, sunglasses and an ID are required. The tour does not include hotel pickup or drop-off, so you'll need to arrange your own transport to and from Turtle Cove Marina. A local guide leads the way and handles the route. You handle the throttle.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What is the limestone sinkhole at Long Bay actually like?
The Hole is a naturally formed limestone sinkhole 40 feet deep in the Long Bay region, one of the most famous geological formations in Turks and Caicos. It's a quick stop (the kind of place that makes you wonder how the earth shaped itself that way), and a popular photo spot on the route.
Can I ride as a passenger if I don't want to operate the UTV myself?
Each UTV holds two people, so yes, you can ride as a passenger in the 2-seater while someone else drives. The operator must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver's license.
What does the lunch at Mr. Grouper's include?
Lunch is an island-style platter with soft drinks included in the tour price. You eat at Mr. Grouper's Restaurant, a local favorite with views over the marina, giving you time to rest and share stories from the ride so far.
Do I need to arrange my own transport to Turtle Cove Marina, or is hotel pickup included?
Hotel pickup and drop-off are not included. You'll need to arrange your own transport to and from Turtle Cove Marina, where the tour starts and ends.
