The Love Cave stays cold year-round because of an old myth about a girl's tears.

A ten-hour boat tour departing from Adrasan takes you to Suluada Island and two other Mediterranean bays for swimming and snorkeling. The boat passes high cliffs and sea caves on the route. Dolphins and turtles appear sometimes. Hotel pickup from Kemer is included, along with lunch and an English-speaking guide.

The experience

The day starts with a two-hour drive from your Kemer hotel to Adrasan port, where the boat departs for Suluada Island. The journey follows the Turkish Riviera coastline, passing rocky cliffs and caves. The Lycian Way hiking trail runs visible along the shore. If conditions align, sea turtles hunt in these waters and surface near the boat.

Your first stop is Suluada Island itself, where three beaches give swimmers and sunbathers room to spread out. The Love Cave sits in the clear water offshore. You swim directly into it from the boat. The second stop is Akseki Bay, also called Love Island, built around another sea cave with water so cold it stays that way even in summer heat. Local legend says the cave's waters are tears shed by a girl in an old story. After time in the water, you return to the boat for lunch. The final stop is Hacivat Karagoz Bay, known as Pirate Bay for its history as an old settlement. It offers more swimming in the clearest Mediterranean water on the route. The boat heads back to Adrasan in the late afternoon, and your transfer returns you to your hotel.

An English-speaking guide travels with the boat and points out the geography and the stories attached to each stop. Lunch is served aboard between the second and third swimming sites, giving you energy for the afternoon water time.

Is this one for you?The ten-hour commitment leaves no room for other activities that day, so book this when you want to spend the full day on the water and in the sea. The early pickup and late return fit a multi-day stay in Kemer, not a quick port stop.
