  • Travel to Adrasan bay
  • Embark boat towards Suluada island

  • Enjoy fish lunch on boat
  • Visit American bay and Kargicak bay

The experience

The boat leaves Adrasan bay and follows the coast toward Suluada, passing the rocky ledges and beaches of the Lycian Way. The route takes in three bays (Kargicak Koyu, Ceneviz Koyu and American Bay), where the water stays clear and shallow enough to see the bottom. You'll stop for swimming at each one, and the guide will point out sea turtles if they surface. They visit these beaches regularly.

Suluada itself is the main event: an uninhabited volcanic island with white sand, rock formations, and a mineral spring that runs into the sea. After your first swim there, a fish lunch with pasta, salad and fresh fruit arrives on the boat. The afternoon is yours to swim again, explore the rocks, or simply float in water so clear it barely looks real. You stay until around 16:30, then head back along the coast with a break on the bus ride home.

Hotel pickup is included, and the boat is air-conditioned. An English-speaking guide travels with the group and explains what you're seeing as you go. Tea is served throughout the day.

Top questions

It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.

What's actually on Suluada Island to see and do?

Suluada is an uninhabited volcanic island with white-sand beaches, clear shallow water for swimming, and rock formations to explore. A mineral spring with therapeutic mineral content flows into the sea at the island's edge, and the water is so transparent you can see the seabed. There's no development or infrastructure on the island itself. It's the water and the landscape that draw people there.

How much time do I get to swim and explore at each stop?

You stop for swimming at Suluada and at two other bays (Kargicak Koyu and American Bay) with time to float, dive, or rest between each one. The boat stays at Suluada long enough for a swim and lunch, then moves to the other bays for additional swimming time. The full day runs ten to eleven hours from pickup to return.

Is the lunch included, and what if I don't eat fish?

Lunch is included and consists of fish, pasta, salad and fresh fruit served on the boat after your first swim. Tea is also provided throughout the day. If you have dietary restrictions, contact the operator before booking to discuss options.

Will I actually see sea turtles on this trip?

Sea turtles frequently visit these beaches, so sightings are possible but not guaranteed. The guide will watch for them and point them out if they surface. Even without a turtle sighting, the bays and the island itself are the main draw.

What happens on the bus ride to and from the boat?

Hotel pickup is included, and you'll be collected from your accommodation or a point on the main road and driven to Adrasan bay, where the boat departs. On the return journey, there's a break during the bus ride home before you're dropped back at your hotel.
