The experience
The day starts with hotel pickup and heads to Koprulu Canyon, where you'll put on a helmet and life jacket, then push off into the water. The rafting section takes you through the canyon's turquoise river, moving at a pace that lets you take in the rock walls and canyon floor. Between the water sections, you'll hike to the zipline platform strung between the high cliffs (the moment most people come back to when they describe the day), then clip in and cross the gap above the canyon.
Canyoning fills the afternoon: you'll wade and swim through deeper sections of the canyon, moving downstream toward the 2,000-year-old Roman bridge that still stands in the riverbed. Lunch happens mid-day and is included. The whole outing runs about nine hours from pickup to drop-off, with the exact timing depending on traffic getting there and back to Belek.
You'll need at least a moderate level of fitness to handle the swimming, wading and climbing involved. The minimum age is 14. A live guide in your chosen language (English, German or Russian) stays with the group throughout. Photos and video are available to purchase at the end of the day if you want them.

Is this one for you?The nine-hour commitment means you'll need most of a day free, but it leaves the evening open for dinner back in Belek. Book this if you want all three activities (rafting, zipline and canyoning) in one outing rather than spreading them across separate days.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, German and Russian.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What's the Roman bridge at Koprulu Canyon and why is it still there?
The Roman bridge dates back 2,000 years and still stands in the riverbed as part of the canyon landscape. You'll swim near it during the canyoning section of the day, so it's not just a distant landmark but a place you actually reach.
Do I need to know how to swim to go rafting at Koprulu Canyon?
You'll be in a life jacket the whole time, and the rafting itself doesn't require swimming skill. The canyoning section does involve wading and swimming in deeper water, so basic comfort in water is needed for that part of the day.
What should I bring or wear for a full day of rafting and canyoning?
Wear clothes you don't mind getting wet and bring a change for after. The operator provides helmet, life jacket and all rafting equipment. Lunch is included, and you can purchase photos or video at the end of the day.
Does the nine-hour duration include the drive from Belek?
Yes, the nine hours covers the full day from hotel pickup through drop-off, including the drive to and from Koprulu Canyon. Exact timing depends on traffic and time of day.
