The experience
The boat leaves Demre Harbour and heads straight for Kekova Island, where the ruins of Simena sit submerged just offshore. You get two dedicated swimming breaks during the trip: one in Burc Bay early on, and a second at the Sunken City itself, where you can snorkel directly above the ancient stone structures. The route also passes Pirate Cave and Gokkaya Bay, both visible from the water, and circles back past Simena Castle before returning to the harbour.
Because the boat is private (booked as a single vessel for your group of up to eight), you set the pace at each stop. The guide speaks English and points out what you're seeing as you move between sites. Swimming gear and snorkeling are your choice. The boat carries you to the spots and waits while you're in the water.
What’s included

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What is the Sunken City of Simena?
Simena is an ancient submerged settlement at Kekova Island, now underwater but visible and reachable by snorkel during the swimming break at that stop.
Can I snorkel on this trip?
Yes. You have two swimming breaks (one in Burc Bay and one at the Sunken City), where snorkeling is possible if you bring or rent gear.
How many people fit on the boat?
The boat holds up to eight passengers and is private to your group, so you book for one person and the entire vessel is yours.
