The tour starts at your hotel, where your guide arrives ready to walk. But the route is not fixed. Your guide also knows the charming neighborhoods, the traditional markets, the serene gardens and the ancient ruins that sit outside the standard loop — the parts of Istanbul that feel like the city actually lives there.

You choose the length: a half-day of four hours or a full day stretching six to eight hours. Hotel pickup is included for centrally located hotels; your guide will come to you. The pace is yours to set, and the stops are negotiable — if the Grand Bazaar holds you longer than planned, or if a neighborhood your guide mentions sounds worth the detour, the day bends to it. Museum entry fees are paid directly to your guide when you arrive at each site, so you know the cost before you commit.

This is a walking tour, so comfortable shoes matter and the city's hills and uneven streets are part of it. Strollers work for infants and small children. Public transport is available nearby if you need a break.
