The Experience

The first thing I noticed was the way the light hit Dolmabahçe Palace as our yacht pulled away from Kabataş. Not golden yet—more like that soft blue before the city really starts to glow. There were families on shore waving at us, kids shouting something I couldn’t catch over the engine hum—and honestly I still think about that view back toward Galata Bridge as dusk settled in.
