The experience

The ride starts with a 20-minute hotel pickup and drive to the horse club, a property surrounded by pine forest. You'll get a 15-minute briefing on the horses and riding basics, then time to walk around and get close to the animals before you mount. The professional guides who accompany you are experienced riders themselves and will help if you need it. Everyone wears a helmet for safety.

You ride for 90 minutes through the countryside in fresh air, moving at a pace the well-trained horses set. Partway through, you stop at a river for a swim and refreshment break: a moment to cool off and rest before heading back. The route stays quiet and scenic, away from the main roads. After you return to the horse club, the drive back to Fethiye and your hotel takes another 20 minutes.

Children under 6 can sit in front of an accompanying adult at no extra charge. The activity runs daily at 10am or 2pm, and you can choose your departure time when you book.
