The experience

The day starts with pickup from your hotel in the Fethiye area and a ride in a 12-seater safari vehicle through pine forests and winding mountain roads. Your guide stops at panoramic viewpoints for photos, then takes you into a traditional Turkish village where you see how locals live and learn about rural culture in the region.

Saklıkent Canyon is the centerpiece: you walk through the gorge's refreshing icy waters and explore the dramatic cliffs that make it one of Europe's longest canyons. After the canyon, you move to a mud bath where mineral-rich mud covers your skin: a playful group moment and a break before lunch. An open-buffet meal happens in nature, then you visit Yakapark to see trout pools and finish at Tlos, an ancient Lycian city with ruins that sit on the hillside overlooking the landscape.

The tour runs seven hours total, which leaves most of your afternoon or evening free depending on your pickup time. Rafting and zipline activities are available for an extra fee if you want more intensity at Saklıkent. Water guns for the mud bath also cost extra. The canyon entrance fee is separate from the tour price.
