The experience

The day starts with pickup from your hotel in Marmaris, then a 30-minute drive to Gökova, a protected natural preservation area on the Turkish Riviera. Your guide briefs you on the gear (helmet, harness and other equipment), and walks through how to use everything safely before you enter the canyon. From there, the activity is physical: you trek through the canyon floor, climb rock faces using fixed anchors, and swim across pools fed by mountain springs. The water is cold, and the canyon walls rise around you as you move deeper into the terrain.

Lunch is included partway through the day, giving you time to rest before the afternoon's climbing and swimming sections. The guide stays with the group throughout, speaking English or Russian and managing the pacing so everyone moves together. By late afternoon, you're driven back to your hotel, typically arriving after 8 hours from pickup.
