The experience

The boat leaves the pier at 10:00 and heads to the first bay, where you'll spend two hours in the water (snorkeling, swimming or just cooling off), while lunch gets prepared. You eat on the boat: fried fish, meatballs or chicken with Turkish rice, salad and mezes, followed by seasonal fruit and Turkish tea or coffee. The captain guides the stops and can answer questions about what you're seeing underwater.

After lunch, the boat moves to a second bay for an hour of sunbathing and swimming. The third stop is a hot water cave. The captain will take you there if you ask, or you can stay on board. It's optional. On the return to Bodrum city, you'll see the peninsula from the water before the boat docks at 16:00. Snorkel, goggles, fishing gear and life jackets are all provided. Bring your own drinks and snacks if you want extras beyond what's served.

The trip suits small groups and families. The boat is private, so you're not joining strangers. If anyone in your group wants to fish instead of snorkel, the rods are there. The captain speaks English and can adjust the route if you have requests before the day starts.
